The year long campaign draws to a climax as the heroes face off with their nemesis The Iron Warlord. Is this the end of the Warlord or the end of the heroes? Maybe both?
The heroes have evacuated the town of Thrume in front of the invading army. They now have to evaluate their situation and options on how to proceed. Additionally an old acquaintance reappears in an unexpected location.
The heroes are in pursuit of an artifact of great power that is somehow related to the lich. But they are not the only ones looking for it, the Iron Warlord is also in the area and he wants the artifact. Also, a battle is raging near Thrume but who are the combatants?
The heroes continue trekking through the dungeon in search of the artifact. Meanwhile back above ground a battle begins but exactly who is fighting?
The heroes have reached the underground complex which may house a relic of great power. Unfortunately there is also an army here that also wants the relic.
After their travels across the continent, the heroes have returned home. But home is not the same as when they left. And an old travelling companion makes an unexpected appearance.
The heroes are once again in pursuit of the evil elven army. The army has taken control of the heroes’ home town of Thrume and are desperately searching for something, but what? Lady Athne is getting valuable information from the Staff of Lore, but what else is it doing to her?
With the destruction of the World Tree and the release of the hoard of evil elves, things have gotten a little tricky for the heroes. They have to decide what their next move should be.
And, what exactly is going on with Athne and that staff?
On a bright note Bart and Deidre have found love in the apocalypse. To borrow a quote from Jon Snow, “It’s nice that the end of the world is working out for someone.”

The Iron Warlord has captured Bart and is headed to the world tree. This can’t be a good thing, can it? And will Deidre ever be the same?
